Nationwide reaches out to Orlando
6/29/16 – In light of the recent Pulse tragedy in Orlando, the Nationwide Foundation is making a contribution of $100,000 to the Better Together Fund.
“The Nationwide Foundation supports the people of Orlando as they begin to heal from this horrible tragedy,” says Chad Jester, president of the Nationwide Foundation. “The Better Together Fund was recently created to help the Orlando community recover in the coming weeks, months and years."
The goal of this fund, held by the Central Florida Foundation, is to help respond to the needs of the Orlando community, now and in the time to come, after the effects of the Pulse nightclub tragedy.
The Better Together Fund supports:
Nonprofits that support the survivors and families
The LGBTQ, Hispanic, faith and other affected communities
Underlying causes of this tragic event
Other needs we cannot anticipate until we face them
